We got to Genny's house about 10:30 and Andrew immediately started running back and forth from her condo to Ashley's condo (next door!). The parades hadn't even started yet and he was having a great time!
A little while later Amanda showed up with 'The Shirts'! Ten years ago, Amanda made a sign that read, "Cup Whore" and ended up getting so many cups that she has been doing it ever since. Due to the fact that it is the 10th anniversary, we really went all out;) We had shirts made, that my friend Jennifer designed, and had a professional sign made (it is out of the same metal that they make street signs with, it is even reflective when light hits it;).
We headed out to the parade and had a wonderful time! The street was packed but thanks to our wonderful tent, we had more than enough room to move around and for Andrew to dance (see video below;). Since some of our friends were on the floats, Andrew caught way too many beads....and cups;)
We ended up leaving around 4:30 because we had been there all day;) We had to tell Andrew that no more floats were coming;)
It was such a fantastic day!! It is rare that I get to hang out with my friends (all at the same time) and to top that off, Andrew was smiling to entire time!! Even Aubree was as happy as could be on the parade route!!
