Animal Kingdom

Today we headed to Animal Kingdom. Like Seaworld, it closes early, so we had to get there in the morning if we wanted to get a full day in at the park. As soon as we got there, we headed to the back to meet everyone on the safari ride. The wait was 50 minutes, but it really didn't seem like that long since we all just talked and the kids played in line. We were however VERY thankful that the wait was that long because about 30 minutes into our wait and about 2 minutes after we got to the place in line that was under shelter, it started pouring! It rained the rest of the time we were in line and then stopped right before we got in the safari vehicle! That is pretty much the story of the day it rained off and on but we were never outside when it rained;) We just lucked out!

After the ride we went inside the tree to see the 4-D show "It's Tough to be a Bug". While waiting for the doors to open Andrew had a major meltdown because he was hungry. After the show, which he did not enjoy, we hurried to get some lunch. After Andrew was feeling better we headed to DINOLAND!! Andrew was so excited!! We rode the triceratops ride about 3 times and then it was time for the jungle parade. Andrew really wasn't into the parade too much.

After, we all headed to ride The Rapids! Andrew didn't want to go on, but we knew that he would have fun, so Nanny and Dawn watched Aubree and the rest of us went white water rafting;)

We rode that ride for the last hour and a half that the park was open! Andrew (along with everyone else) loved every second of it!! We would get off the ride, walk around to the front, and do it again. Then after a few times of doing that we started just going through the fast pass line so we wouldn't have to go all the way to the front (don't worry there was no one waiting;)! Then the last 3 or 4 times they just let us stay on the raft and we just continuously rode!! We were all DRENCHED!! I must say that even though we all got soaked, for some reason the huge wave would ALWAYS land on either my dad or my mom, but more times than not it was my mom!! It was sooooo funny!! Lets just say that Disney made a pretty penny on us afterward selling beach towels;)

It was the PERFECT way to end our Disney vacation! I can't imagine it ending any other way than having everyone ( especially Andrew!) with HUGE smiles on their faces!!

I can't wait to come back next year!

Oh and once again Aubree was the perfect baby that she has been this entire trip!! She gets the best traveler award for sure!!

Sweet baby girl!

Ready for the safari ride.

Going into the tree. I had to use my nursing cover to protect Aubree from the light drizzle;)
